1. What is the history of GIA’s Asia Pacific regional office in Singapore?

Global Intelligence Alliance’s (GIA) representation in Singapore began as Fusion Consulting, which was established in 2002. The company served clients such as BASF, Walt Disney and Intel in the areas of business expansion strategy, competitive intelligence and customer research. Fusion Consulting became a GIA Member company in 2004, merged with GIA in October 2008 and rebranded as GIA in Singapore in July 2009.

With the merger, clients received immediate access to efficient research and in-depth intelligence across the globe, an expanded team of specialists with local market and industry expertise, and a single partner to provide the full range of customized Market Intelligence and related consulting services.

Together with GIA’s offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, GIA Singapore now serves both international and Asian companies looking for world-class strategic market intelligence and advisory on Asia Pacific markets.

GIA Singapore works with clients on market entry studies, market sizing and segmentation, market forecasting, opportunity analysis, investment feasibility studies, market database creation, competitive intelligence, competitor profiling, voice-of-the-customer research, M&A evaluation, business expansion strategy, supply chain analysis, value chain analysis and marketing strategy.
