1. What is the history of GIA’s office in Brazil?

Global Intelligence Alliance’s (GIA) representation in Brazil dates back to 1997 as InfoAmericas. The company served clients such as Embratur, Nokia, Klabin, Schindler in the areas of market entry, market segmentation and positioning, partnering and competitive benchmarking. As GIA’s international clients increasingly turned their focus on Latin America, GIA set up an office in São Paulo, Brazil in 2009, in collaboration with ex-InfoAmericas director, Thomas Rideg.

Today, GIA Brazil serves both international and local companies looking for world-class strategic market intelligence and advisory on Latin American markets, primarily Brazil, Mexico, Central America (Panama, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala), Caribbean, the Andean Region (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Southern Cone which includes Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay).

They have partnered with GIA to conduct market, channel, competitive and consumer assessments across several Latin American countries.

5. Who heads up the Global Intelligence Alliance office in Brazil?

Natan Rodeguero heads up the Global Intelligence Alliance office in Brazil. As Vice-President, Latin America at GIA, he leads GIA’s operations in the region and is an expert in the field of market intelligence.

Natan has led over 90 consulting assignments in Latin America for clients across different industries. He has spent more than 10 years working with clients from the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America, advising on market intelligence, value chain analysis, opportunities and threats, macro trends analysis and customer insights. Natan's industry experience spans retail and consumer goods, financial services, insurance, and industrial (construction equipment, chemicals, etc).

Prior to joining GIA, Natan was with InfoAmericas, a market intelligence firm focused in Latin American markets, that was later absorbed by Kroll Associates, the world´s leading risk management firm. He has also previously worked at Banco Safra and Braskem.

Natan is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
