1. What is the history of GIA’s office in the United Kingdom (UK)?

In response to increasing demand for systematic results-oriented market intelligence services from UK based clients, Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) set up its office in London in 2006, having served clients in the market since 2004.

Together with other GIA offices in Western Europe, GIA’s London office provides clients with a full suite of services with a global team of experts, content production and software tools in place. Our services range from strategic market research and advisory to fully outsourced market intelligence operations.

The London office of Global Intelligence Alliance have been running market intelligence operations for several clients to help them constantly understand, compete and grow in their markets.

More recently, we have been assisting UK companies identify customer leads in markets in Europe, China, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Aleksi Grym, Vice President and United Kingdom Business Unit Director, is responsible for Global Intelligence Alliance’s clients and operations in the UK.

Aleksi is a notable leader in market intelligence best practices, including strategic analysis and market sizing. With over 10 years of experience as an analyst and strategy consultant, he has also built up considerable industry expertise in financial services as well as energy and resources.

He first joined GIA in 2006 and was previously based at the strategic advisory firm's global headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. Aleksi is an economist and Fulbright scholar.
