Organized Market Intelligence Estimated to Save 9.5 Days a Year for Every End-User

Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA), a global strategic market intelligence and advisory group, releases findings from its annual Global Market Intelligence survey which indicate that companies with systematically organized market intelligence operations report time savings of at least 1.5 hours a week per end-user. That effectively accumulates to about 9.5 days a year per end-user.

Companies often waste time due to faulty or inaccurate business information. By organizing market intelligence systematically, businesses reported reducing resource wastage by as much as 50%. The merits of systematically organized market intelligence were not limited to saving time and resources.

Respondents also listed other important benefits from having better quality information:

  • Time savings: Shifting decision-makers’ time-spend from looking for accurate information to making decisions based on it
  • Cost savings: Avoiding inefficiencies and redundancies in purchasing and processing business information
