India’s increasingly urbanized middle class spells opportunity for consumer medical devices
By the end of this year, over 60% of the entire Indian population will be classified as middle-class, according to a survey by CRISIL. Many live in India’s tier 1 and tier 2 cities, and some may earn as much as USD20,000 per year - or the equivalent of over USD100,000 per year in India when adjusted for purchasing power parity.
